Eager to incorporate my art historian's eye and love for Italian culture, visiting Heliopolis Camping & Village was a delightful escape. the peaceful privacy of individual accommodations, separated by lush hedges, made for a serene stay. Exploring the campsite on foot, free from cars, lent an air of safety and tranquility. The excellent restaurant at Heliopolis impressed me with its diverse menu, offering fresh fish dishes and traditional Abruzzo fare at reasonable prices. the mobile homes in the Oleandri area were charmingly furnished, providing a fine balance between camping freedom and home comforts. the nearby equipped beach, though covered in small stones, offered a range of amenities for relaxation by the sea. Despite the rocky shore requiring water shoes, the calm waters beckoned for a dip. the engaging activities like water aerobics added a touch of fun to the beach experience. Heliopolis Camping & Village's strategic location between the mountains and sea created a unique ecosystem, teeming with diverse flora and fauna. While I explored the area solo, I could envision returning with a friend or two to partake in the kayaking, snorkeling, and other sports available. the campsite's vibrant atmosphere, with entertainment and a friendly staff, hinted at enjoyable evenings spent chatting over hot croissants. Heliopolis Camping & Village provided a refreshing blend of nature, comfort, and Italian hospitality, making it a captivating retreat for art enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
